Visit the World’s Most Famous Mouse in Orlando

To spend quality time together with your family- Orlando, Florida comes to the mind without an effort. Its beauty apart, it is home to the most popular mouse in the world, Mickey Mouse. The town has many parks dedicated to the mouse and his pals. You must have loved Mickey in your childhood and perhaps even today. So go to the lovely and many Disney theme parks and water parks that have made this sleepy town of Florida famous the world over. Plan a complete Disney holiday and stay at one of its themed resorts. Don't worry about the cost; there are packages to suit every budget.

There is no better place to be than the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” That slogan has propelled Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom into the stratosphere of family oriented theme parks. Whether you decide to fly around Neverland with Peter Pan and his pals or brave the unknown of Space Mountain, the Magic Kingdom is the place to be! Kids and adults alike will find something interested to see or do in this great theme park, whether it’s the famous puppets singing the catchy “It’s a Small World After All” or just shopping at the many stores on Main Street, USA the park is a must-see.

The Animal Kingdom is the latest addition to the Walt Disney World theme parks. It gives a unique twist to the traditional zoo with different sections housing animals native to different continents. You can go on safari in the park’s African savannah or plunge down white river rapids in the Asian section. You will get the thrilling experience of rides, attractions, and animals. In addition, you can learn more about different cultures through a variety of shows and educational exhibits at the park.

For the movie buffs wishing a sneak peak of behind the scene action there is the MGM studios. This studio is the exact replica of the actual one, it will take you down to memory lane when you relive your moments watching "Singin' in the Rain" and the "Star Wars" movies. Special effects, great stunts are also showcased on the tour of the park. Other most loved highlights of the park is the show "Fantasmic" where everyone's mouse battles with all sorts of evil creatures like Aladdin's nemesis Jafar and Millicent of "Sleeping Beauty." The "Twilight Zone of Terror" would give you the jitters as you see yourself plunging towards the earth at startling rates.

Epcot is the classic theme park that fulfilled Walt Disney’s vision of the future. Allowing individuals to travel the world without leaving Orlando, be sure to make a stop at the famous “golf ball” and visit Epcot. Learn about countries like China, Mexico, and Norway while you experience the great food and culture of their native peoples. Take a trip into the past with the dinosaur exhibit and find out what it’s like to be back in the Jurassic age. All ages will enjoy this park, especially adults who get the chance to test drive the newest model car at the park’s test track.

Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon are the two water parks in Orlando for those who swear by water activities. Blizzard Beach is complete with luges and a ski jump for the daring. It used to be a ski resort before being converted into a water park. For body surfing, watching lovely fishes and lazing down a river there is the Typhoon Lagoon.

As for lodging, you will find a whole lot of quality theme resorts from the luxurious and upscale Grand Floridian to the most economical All Star resorts.

This one-mouse town is the right place to go to for your next holiday regardless of whether you are eight or eighty!
