White bass fishing is one of the most widespread and well-liked companionship sports in the USA. There are many reasons for this. It can even be advantageous to use fake minnow plugs as most white bass cannot resist the lure of these!

Experienced white bass fisherman know all the ins and outs of these wonderful fish; how to catch them, their habits, what attracts them, and so forth; but a beginner should not feel intimidated - the secrets of white bass fishing can be learned relatively easily, and it is a lot of fun doing so. White bass are not complicated creatures - they will bite mostly anything if it is attracts their attention. When fishing, be sure to take note of all the subtleties of the fish's behavior, and modify your fishing technique to fit their habits. In this way you will be sure to catch plenty of white bass.

Finding White Bass

There was a time when white bass were pretty centrally located. These days, they are plentiful in New Mexico, but are also found in Texas, areas in Canada, and even the Colorado River. White bass are also native to the northern Great Lakes.

In these areas and other places where white bass are found, people fish them from small fishing boats or from the bank. They are found in water of varying depths, and the depth of the water is the best indicator of where they might be found in the water and the best way to go about fishing them, whether it be from next to the water or from above it.

White bass fishing can be one of the most enjoyable ways to spend a day, or even a weekend away, with close friends and family. If you have not done so before, do yourself a favor, organize a white bass fishing trip immediately! You will not regret it!
